Calling all Bracknell Forest businesses:
Building on the recent Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) and our own local consultations there is strong evidence to show there is a need to improve not only the skills training environment, but to also support business productivity directly by providing relevant skills and create a comprehensive bridge between the two.
Bracknell Forest Council has been working on a solution to harness the power of skilled individuals and ensure local businesses have access to a relevant talent pool to boost productivity and support growth.
The new Bracknell Forest Skills Hub will provide expert resource to facilitate the provision of skills and training aligning directly with business requirements in the local area. The vision being to attract local career seekers and support them to achieve their desired career through relevant training, this ultimately supports businesses to increase productivity by the provision of relevant skilled labour and will help to retain a stronger workforce.
Our launch event will showcase the Skills Hub and its services along with providing the opportunity for discussions with local businesses and training providers around needs and challenges that we are set to help overcome.
