What once started as musings by colleagues in 2024, grew the idea for development of a Sales Skills Bootcamp, provided by the Berkshire Growth Academy.
By January 2025, the Sales Skills Bootcamp celebrated “significant progress” in all three themes by OFSTED, a grand result for hard work put in by the team at the Berkshire Growth Academy.
Due to the success of the 2024 Sales Skills Bootcamp and this outstanding Ofsted evaluation, Berkshire Growth Academy plans to run additional sales skills training programmes in 2025.
The report highlighted several strengths of the programme, including effective monitoring of participation and progress, carefully planned training by experienced, specialist staff, and exceptional outcomes for learners.
But – why? It came apparent that many small business owners and solopreneurs started their businesses as they had a passion for their product or service, but were not natural salespeople lacking the confidence in their skillset. The Sales Skills Bootcamp was designed specifically with this in mind, taking 34 people to a sales qualification in 16 weeks. Most of the graduates have already reported an upturn in their leads, appointments, and sales. The one word used constantly by the attendees was that the Skills Bootcamp was transformational.
Ofsted (the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills) is the UK government body responsible for inspecting and regulating services that provide education and skills for learners of all ages. An Ofsted evaluation is considered the gold standard for educational quality in the UK, providing independent assessment of teaching quality, curriculum design, and overall effectiveness. To receive such a gold standard in the short amount of time is a huge testament to the team at Berkshire Growth Academy.
The Growth Academy have two Skills Bootcamps available to those in Berkshire (other eligibility criteria apply): Sales and AI starting in April and May respectively. Participants dedicate 4 hours per week over 15 weeks, with a total of 60 hours of learning. Find out more here.
