The Art of Leadership: Empowering small business owners
Leading your business and your staff well is key, especially in these times of change. Great leadership unlocks the best in people. It can help your staff enjoy and have pride in their work and it can make your life easier.
Overview
This introduction to some of the fundamentals of leadership will provide both insight and an opportunity for self-reflection. By attending this Masterclass you will learn:
• The importance of Vision,
• The leadership qualities that every successful business owner needs,
• How you can get more from your staff in ways that benefit you, them, and your business.
Working as a leader in a small organisation is likely to mean you’re working through things on your own or with a small team. This can mean you have limited opportunities to find out about other approaches, to benefit from other leaders’ experience and to hear fresh perspectives.
You may also be short of time. Leading people takes time and often we can find ourselves solving problems for our staff and having limited time to do our own work. The busyness of the day-to-day can make stepping back to lead seem like a luxury.
