User Accounts
How do I create a user account?
Simply follow one of the many links on the website to create your profile. The act of creating your profile automatically creates a user account.
How do I login?
Simply use the ‘Login’ link located in the top menu bar or in the hamburger menu if viewing the website on mobile. Alternatively you can visit the login page here.
In order to login you first need to create a user account.
I've forgotten my password
To reset your password either click on the forgotten password link on the login page or follow the link here directly to the forgotten password page.
You will then receive an email allowing you to reset your password.
I'm having problems logging in
You must have a valid username and password to login to the website. If you are having trouble logging into your account try the following steps:
- Make sure no-one else is already logged in on your device – if they are then log out.
- If your username and password are not working then follow the instructions above to reset your password.
- If you do not have an account to reset a password, you will need to create a new account.
How come I can only select 1 business sector for my company?
The sectors available to choose from on your business profile are the sector that your business falls under. Your business should fall into just one sector. You may operate within/across several sectors – but you, as a business, are just in one. This is the sector for your business profile.
If you advertise your business in the Marketplace you can select all the sectors that your business operates in. This will allow other businesses to find you.
Business Support
How do I get in touch with a Business Adviser?
We do not provide open contact details to our Business Advisers. They will be in touch with you if they think they can help and depending on your business profile you may be able to request a call back. You will know this by visiting your dashboard.
I cannot find the support I was looking for, please help?
We have many support guides and resources on our website with more added all the time.
The guides and resources that we show you are tailored to the settings within your business profile. You could try updating the information on your profile or searching from the dashboard.
Marketplace
How do I list my business in the Marketplace?
You have to have a valid user account in order to create a Marketplace listing. You can create your Marketplace account on our Join the Marketplace page. You must be a Berkshire business to upload to our Marketplace.
If you already have a Marketplace account you can easily create your business listing by following the link from your dashboard or visiting the Create your business listing page directly.
I've uploaded my listing but it's not on the site.
We check and verify listings before we add them to the website. It usually takes us two business days to do this.
You can check your listing status at any point on your dashboard.
How do I edit my Marketplace listing?
You can modify your business listing by either following the link from your dashboard or visiting your listing whilst being logged into the site. They site will then show you the option to edit the listing.
My Marketplace listing has disappeared, why?
If a Marketplace listing has not been edited for two years we reserve the right to remove the listing. Notice would be given to you about how to keep your lisitng active.
We do this to ensure our Marketplace directory is current.
Why are the sectors different to the ones on my business profile?

Within the Marketplace you select the sectors that your business operates in. This will allow other businesses to find you.
Events
Why is my event listing not appearing on the site?
We have to check and verify events before we add them to the website. It usually takes us two business days to do this. You must be a Berkshire business to upload an event or host an event in Berkshire. Your event will not be approved otherwise.
Full details of the process will be sent to you in an email once you have submitted your event.
Can I edit my event details?
There are no facilities available to edit or remove events once they have been published onto the site. If you need to get in touch with us please email comms@thamesvalleyberkshire.co.uk.
My event has been cancelled, can it be removed from the site?
