The IPCC has declared an environmental emergency; the evidence is irrefutable but businesses don’t know how to respond. Meanwhile, the cost-of-doing business crisis is a threat to small businesses across the UK, compounded by rising inflation and energy prices. Solutions are in place to help businesses take steps to save on their bills by reducing consumption emissions, enabling them to lead the change to a thriving green economy. This session will focus on exactly that; practical, actionable and affordable tools available to your business to help you save money whilst becoming sustainable.

Martin Fry is a demand-side energy expert, Hon President of the Energy Services Technology Association, who plays a major role in the development of international standards on energy consumption, recently launching a new guidance document for businesses – EnCO (Energy Conscious Organisation). This will be put to the Sector Forum for Energy Management committee in Brussels as a proposal for a European standard or guidance document on Behaviour Change. A key element of engaging with reducing emissions and costs.

Amy Ross and Richard Garner are from Zellar – a sustainability-as-a-service platform which supports businesses in reaching their Net Zero goals, saving money and energy along the way.
